“Tomas Kaberle has not waived no trade clause. He has indicated to TOR he may look favorably on trade to BOS, but no commitment's been made,” said TSN's Bob McKenzie on twitter.
No trade has been made, but you can bet Kaberle to Boston is being discussed by the Leafs and Bruins. Here is my guess what the trade would/could be: Wheeler, Stuart, and maybe a draft pick in the 2nd-4th round range. The Bruins should not even need to add a pick in my opinion. Stuart is a top notch defensemen in the defensive zone and Wheeler is a good big young forward the Leafs could use.
Kaberle has 4 goals and 27 assists for 31 points this season on Toronto’s back end. Last season he tallied 7 goals and 42 assists for 49 points in a full 82 game schedule last season. Kaberle could be the puck moving defensemen the Bruins have been looking for. He would instantly become a top pairing defensmen with Chara and quater back the power-play.
